Target Information
BMP6는 bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) 계열에 속하는 분비형 신호 단백질로, 이들은 이소성 골 형성을 유도할 수 있습니다. BMPs는 transforming growth factor-beta (TGFB) superfamily의 일부이며, 원래 탈무기질화된 뼈 추출물이 체외에서 내연골 골형성을 유도하는 능력으로 확인되었습니다.
BMP6는 발생 초기에 발현되어 초기 발생과 관련된 역할을 하는 것으로 제안되었으며, BMP5 및 BMP7과의 높은 유사성으로 인해 골유도 활성 가능성이 제시되고 있습니다.
