The KZ-III Tissue Homogenizer (Room Temperature) uses a vertical oscillation system that reciprocates at high speed, causing pre-cooled samples in grinding tubes to collide with grinding beads. It is a specialized instrument for rapid, simultaneous multi-sample processing in research fields such as agriculture, biomedicine, and food testing.

Traditional mortar grinding is limited to one sample at a time and requires frequent cleaning and sterilization, increasing workload. The KZ-III homogenizer improves efficiency and reproducibility.

Strong and Tough Tissue Grinding

For hard samples (e.g., cartilage, hair):

  1. Cut into 1–2 mm pieces.
  2. Place in 2 mL tube with beads.
  3. Freeze in liquid nitrogen for 2–3 min.
  4. Dry grind for 60 s at 7 m/s.
  5. Add extraction solution and repeat.
  6. If insufficient, refreeze and repeat process.
