This antibody is directed against the unphosphorylated form of PKD2, and cross-reactivity with phosphorylated forms has not yet been determined.
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the polycystin protein family. The encoded protein contains multiple transmembrane domains and cytoplasmic N- and C-termini. It may be an integral membrane protein involved in cell-cell or matrix interactions, renal tubular development, and intracellular calcium homeostasis. The protein interacts with polycystin 1 to produce cation-permeable currents. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.
