Target Information

ANKMY2 (ankyrin repeat and MYND domain containing 2) is a 441 amino acid protein containing three ANK repeats and one MYND-type zinc finger.
The ANKMY2 gene maps to human chromosome 7p21.1 and is conserved across multiple species including chimpanzee, dog, cow, mouse, chicken, zebrafish, fruit fly, mosquito, and C. elegans.
Downregulation of ANKMY2, associated with deletions on chromosome 7p22.1, suggests a potential role in NK-cell malignancies. ANKMY2 expression is also upregulated by Hox11, which influences hematopoiesis and pre-leukemic states.
