Target Information
Transcription coactivator of nuclear receptors functioning with CBP-p300 and SRC-1. Plays a role in forming distinct coactivator complexes under different cellular conditions. Mediates transactivation of NF-kappa-B, SRF, and AP1, and acts as a transrepression mediator between nuclear receptors and AP1 or NF-kappa-B. Involved in androgen receptor transactivation and testicular function.
