For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The genes for all four subunits of the T-cell antigen receptor (α, β, γ, and δ) are regulated by distinct enhancers and their binding proteins. Marine and Winoto (1991) identified a common TCR regulatory element by demonstrating GATA3 binding to enhancer elements of all four TCR genes.
GATA3, a zinc finger domain-containing enhancer-binding protein, is expressed in T cells but not in B cells or macrophages. It plays a key role in T-lymphocyte lineage differentiation and T-cell receptor gene activation. The human GATA3 gene contains six exons over 17 kb of DNA, with two zinc fingers encoded by separate, highly conserved exons.
