Target Information
FBXO11 is a member of the F-box protein family, characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid F-box motif. These proteins form part of the SCF (SKP1-cullin-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, which functions in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. F-box proteins are divided into three classes:
- Fbws – containing WD-40 domains
- Fbls – containing leucine-rich repeats
- Fbxs – containing other protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs
FBXO11 belongs to the Fbxs class. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
