Target Information
A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs)는 PKA의 조절 서브유닛과 결합하여 세포 내 특정 위치에 효소를 고정시키는 기능을 가진 다양한 구조의 단백질군입니다.
AKAP13 유전자는 AKAP 계열의 구성원으로, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 DH (dbl oncogene homology) 및 PH (pleckstrin homology) 도메인을 포함하는 여러 이소폼을 생성합니다.
DH 도메인은 Rho/Rac GTP 결합 단백질의 활성형 전환을 유도하며, PH 도메인은 다양한 기능을 수행합니다.
이러한 이소폼들은 Rho 신호전달 경로의 스캐폴드 단백질로 작용하며, PKA-anchoring protein으로서 기능하고, 에스트로겐 수용체 α 및 β의 리간드 의존적 활성도 증가시킵니다.
