Target Information
PTP PEST (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, non-receptor type 12) is an 88 kDa cytosolic protein tyrosine phosphatase ubiquitously expressed in mammalian tissues. It exhibits high specific activity in vitro with artificial tyrosine-phosphorylated substrates. PTP PEST activity is regulated via phosphorylation at serine 39 by protein kinase C and protein kinase A.
