Target Information

POU2AF1 is a transcriptional coactivator that specifically associates with OCT1 or OCT2.
It enhances OCT1-mediated promoter activity and, to a lesser extent, OCT2 activity.
The protein itself has no intrinsic DNA-binding activity but recognizes the POU domains of OCT1 and OCT2.
It is essential for B-cell antigen response and germinal center formation.
