Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and are involved in mitochondrial protein synthesis.
Mitochondrial ribosomes (mitoribosomes) consist of a 28S small subunit and a 39S large subunit, with a higher protein-to-rRNA ratio (approximately 75%) compared to prokaryotic ribosomes.
Unlike prokaryotic ribosomes, mammalian mitoribosomes lack 5S rRNA.
The DAP3 gene encodes a 28S subunit protein that also participates in apoptotic pathways initiated by TNF-α, Fas ligand, and IFN-γ.
This protein may bind ATP/GTP and interact with mitoribosomal protein S27.
Splice variants differing in the 5′ UTR exist but encode the same protein.
Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1q and 2q.
