Target Information

ADORA2A is a G-protein coupled receptor and one of several adenosine receptor subtypes. Its activity is mediated by G proteins that activate adenylyl cyclase. This receptor is abundant in basal ganglia, vasculature, and platelets, and is a major target of caffeine.
