Target Information
NUDT16은 snoRNA 및 mRNA의 cap 구조를 금속 의존적으로 절단하는 RNA-binding 및 decapping 효소입니다. U8 snoRNP 복합체의 일부로서 5.8S 및 28S rRNA의 성숙에 필요합니다. 다양한 RNA 종에 작용하며, 망간 또는 코발트를 보조인자로 사용합니다. 또한 비정상적인 퓨린 뉴클레오타이드(IDP, dIDP 등)를 가수분해하여 RNA/DNA 전구체 풀에서 제거함으로써 게놈 안정성 유지에 기여합니다.
