Target Information
Apolipoprotein C-III (ApoC3)는 인간에서 APOC3 유전자에 의해 발현되는 단백질로, VLDL (Very Low Density Lipoprotein)의 구성 성분입니다.
APOC3는 Lipoprotein Lipase와 Hepatic Lipase를 억제하여 Triglyceride-rich particles의 대사를 지연시키는 역할을 합니다.
APOA1, APOC3, APOA4 유전자는 인간과 설치류 모두에서 밀접하게 연결되어 있으며, APOA1과 APOA4는 동일한 가닥에서, APOA1과 APOC3는 반대 방향으로 전사됩니다.
ApoC3의 농도 증가 시 고중성지방혈증 (Hypertriglyceridemia) 발생과 연관이 있습니다.
