Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
This antibody reacts with mouse Esrp-2 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Esrp-2 from mouse based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Esrp-2 from other sources has not been determined.
Target Information
RBM35A, also known as ESRP2, is an mRNA splicing factor that, along with its related protein ESRP1, coordinates an epithelial cell-type-specific splicing program.
Both ESRP2 and ESRP1 regulate posttranscriptional expression of genes such as FGFR2, CD44, CTNND1, and ENAH, influencing protein translation via 5′ UTRs of mRNAs.
Loss of ESRP-regulated epithelial splicing induces morphological changes characteristic of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
