Target Information
The CHD4 gene product belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and is the main component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase complex. It plays a key role in epigenetic transcriptional repression. Patients with dermatomyositis may develop antibodies against this protein.
