ABI2는 비수용체 티로신 키나아제 ABL1 및 ABL2와 상호작용하여 세포 성장과 변형을 조절하는 역할을 할 수 있습니다. ABI2는 WAVE 복합체의 구성 요소로, lamellipodia 형성을 조절하며 Arp2/3 복합체를 통한 actin 필라멘트 재조직화를 매개합니다. 또한 ABL1/c-Abl에 의한 MENA의 인산화를 조절합니다.
