Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MTMR2 gene belongs to the myotubularin family and encodes a protein with phosphatase activity towards phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate and phosphatidylinositol-3,5-bisphosphate.
Mutations in this gene are associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4B, an autosomal recessive demyelinating neuropathy.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
