Product Specific Information
Each lot of antibody is tested for sensitivity using ELISA and for specificity by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
Rehydrate with 1.1 mL deionized water, allow to stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve, then centrifuge to remove particulates.
Prepare fresh working dilution daily. Product is overfilled to ensure complete recovery.
Stable for 1 year from date of receipt.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin rat serum proteins.
Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat immunoglobulins and provide increased versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
