Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein 2(VAMP2)는 cAMP에 의해 조절되는 세포외 분비(exocytosis)에 필수적인 단백질입니다.
VAMP(또는 synaptobrevin)는 시냅스 소포의 도킹 및 융합 복합체의 구성 요소로, 신경계의 신경분비 과정에서 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
- VAMP-1과 VAMP-2는 신경계 내에서 서로 다른 조직 분포를 보이며, 신장, 부신, 간, 췌장, 갑상선, 심장, 평활근 등 다양한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
- VAMP-1은 외분비 췌장과 신장 세뇨관 세포에 제한적으로 존재하며,
- VAMP-2는 랑게르한스섬과 사구체 세포에서 우세하게 발현됩니다.
- 두 isoform은 공초점 현미경에서 소포성 세포내 분포를 보입니다.
- 신경세포 외에서도 VAMP 단백질의 생리학적 중요성이 보고되었습니다.
