Target Information
CXCR1은 G-단백질 결합 수용체(GPCR) 계열에 속하며, 인터루킨-8(IL8)의 수용체로 작용합니다. IL8과 높은 친화도로 결합하며, G-단백질 활성화된 2차 신호전달 시스템을 통해 신호를 전달합니다. 생쥐의 knockout 연구에서 CXCR1 단백질이 척수 발달 중 희소돌기아교세포 전구체의 이동을 억제함을 시사하였습니다.
이 유전자는 IL8RB 및 IL8RBP와 함께 염색체 2q33–q36 영역에 위치한 유전자 클러스터를 형성합니다.
