Target Information
SIGLEC5는 세포 간 상호작용에 관여하는 시알산 의존적 결합을 매개하는 접착 분자로 알려져 있습니다. 이 단백질은 α2,3 및 α2,6 결합 시알산 모두에 결합하며, 동일 세포 표면의 시알산과의 cis 상호작용에 의해 결합 부위가 마스킹될 수 있습니다.
SIGLEC5는 단핵구/골수계 세포에서 발현되며, 말초혈액 백혈구, 비장, 골수에서 높은 수준으로, 림프절, 폐, 충수, 태반, 췌장, 흉선에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다. 단핵구와 호중구에서 발현되지만, 조기 골수단핵세포 분화 단계의 백혈병 세포주에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
