Target Information
Sphingosine Kinase 2 (Sphk2)는 sphingosine을 sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P)로 인산화하는 효소로, 세포 내외에서 중요한 신호전달 분자로 작용합니다. S1P는 세포 분화, 칼슘 동원, 세포사멸 등을 조절하며, EDG 계열의 G 단백질 결합 수용체(S1P Receptors)를 통해 다양한 세포 반응을 매개합니다. 이러한 수용체는 여러 G 단백질(Gi, Gq, G13 등)에 결합하여 세포 이동, 생존, 사멸, 상호작용 등 광범위한 생물학적 기능을 조절합니다. 또한 S1P는 심장 형성, 혈관 성숙, 난자 생존, 면역세포 이동, 신경계 및 골세포 조절에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
