Target Information
DNA Ligase III는 포유류 세포 내 네 가지 DNA ligase 단백질 중 하나로, DNA 복제, 수선 및 재조합 과정에서 DNA 가닥의 절단 부위를 연결하는 데 필수적입니다.
본 유전자의 산물은 체세포에서 약 100 kDa 크기의 α형 단백질로 발현되며, XRCC-1과 복합체를 형성합니다. 또한, 고환에서 97 kDa 크기의 β형 단백질로 존재합니다.
DNA Ligase III는 단일가닥 DNA 절단 복구 및 염기 절제 복구 경로에 관여합니다.
