Target Information
SATB1 (DNA-binding protein SATB1)는 Xist RNA 매개 X 염색체 불활성화 과정에 관여하는 핵심 전사 억제 인자입니다. AT-rich DNA 서열 및 핵 매트릭스 결합 영역에 결합하며, DNA의 당-인산 골격 구조를 인식하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
또한 SATB1은 T세포 성숙 과정에서 핵 및 바이러스 유전자 발현을 조절하며, HIV-1 통합 기작에 영향을 미치는 독특한 크로마틴 환경을 형성합니다. HIV-1 Tat 단백질은 SATB1 매개 억제 작용을 극복하여 IL1 및 IL2RA 발현을 조절할 수 있습니다.
