ErbB 4는 neuregulins 및 NTAK에 의해 활성화되며 heregulin의 수용체로 작용합니다. 세포 내 대사, 전사, 세포주기 조절, 세포 이동, 세포골격 재배열, 세포사멸 및 분화 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다.
