Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

FGFR3 belongs to the fibroblast growth factor receptor family of receptor tyrosine kinases, which regulate key cellular functions such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, differentiation, and tissue repair.
FGFR family members vary in ligand affinity and tissue distribution. The full-length protein includes three immunoglobulin-like extracellular domains, a transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain.
FGFR3 interacts with fibroblast growth factors to trigger downstream signaling cascades affecting cell growth and differentiation.
Mutations in FGFR3 are associated with craniosynostosis and various skeletal dysplasias. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
