Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins.
They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies enable use with multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled human immunoglobulins and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
