Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Prolactin (PRL) is a pituitary hormone involved in the stimulation of milk production, salt and water regulation, growth, development, and reproduction. PRL exerts its influence on different cell types through a signal transduction pathway that begins with the binding of the hormone to a transmembrane PRL receptor.
