Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Arginine methyltransferase that methylates the guanidino nitrogens of arginyl residues in proteins such as STAT3, FBL, and histone H4.
Acts as a coactivator (with NCOA2) of androgen receptor (AR)-mediated transactivation and as a coactivator (with estrogen) of estrogen receptor (ER)-mediated transactivation.
Enhances PGR, PPARG, and RARA-mediated transactivation. May inhibit NF-kappa-B transcription and promote apoptosis.
Represses E2F1 transcriptional activity (in a RB1-dependent manner) and may be involved in growth regulation. [UniProt]
