Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
This gene belongs to the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and encodes a protein containing both an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. The protein binds insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) I and II, circulating in plasma. Binding of this protein prolongs the half-life of IGFs and modulates their interaction with cell surface receptors.
