Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a transcription factor containing C2H2-type zinc-fingers and a positive regulatory domain found in various zinc-finger transcription factors involved in B cell differentiation and tumor suppression. Studies in mouse suggest roles in CNS development and neuronal storage disease pathogenesis. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
