SSU72는 효모 Ssu72의 고도로 보존된 상동체로, CTD 인산화효소 및 polyadenylation/termination 기구의 구성 요소입니다. 인간 Ssu72는 염색체 1p36에 위치하며 단일 유전자로 존재합니다. pRb 결합 인자로 확인되었으며 TFIIB 및 효모 PTA1과 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 다양한 인간 세포주에서 약 30 kDa 단일 밴드를 인식하지만 마우스 조직에서는 반응성이 낮습니다.
