The eBio299Arm monoclonal antibody is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported:
Used in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Validated by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood. Can be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Isotype control antibodies act as negative controls to distinguish non-specific background signal from specific antibody signal. They have no relevant specificity to a target antigen and are essential for accurate interpretation of staining results.
Commonly used in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, ChIP, and gel shift assays.
Should match the species and isotype of the primary antibody.
For directly labeled antibodies, use isotype controls conjugated with the same label.
