LRRK2는 키나아제 도메인, GTPase 도메인, leucine-rich repeat (LRR) 도메인을 포함하는 다중 도메인 단백질입니다. LRRK2의 변이는 파킨슨병과 관련이 있으며, leucine-rich repeat kinase 계열에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 ankyrin 반복 영역, LRR 도메인, kinase 도메인, DFG-like motif, RAS 도메인, GTPase 도메인, MLK-like 도메인, WD40 도메인을 포함합니다. 주로 세포질에 존재하지만 미토콘드리아 외막에도 결합합니다.
