Target Information

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)는 구강, 후두, 피부, 생식기 등에서 조직 특이적 유두종을 유발합니다. HPV 1, 6, 11형은 주로 양성 변화를 일으키며, 16, 18, 31형은 자궁경부암 등 일부 암의 발생과 관련이 있습니다.
E6 단백질은 이중가닥 DNA에 결합하는 전사 활성화 인자로, E6-AP 유비퀴틴 단백질 리가아제와 함께 인간 TP53/p53 종양 억제 단백질을 분해 대상으로 만들어 세포 변형을 유도합니다.

임상적 관련성: 자궁경부 도말 및 생검에서 HPV 검출.
주요 용도: 세포 변형 연구에서 E6 발현 분석.
