Target Information
Hyaluronan (HA) 또는 hyaluronic acid는 고분자량의 비분지 다당류로, 세균부터 포유류까지 다양한 생물에서 합성되며 세포외기질의 주요 구성 성분입니다. HA는 glucuronic acid와 N-acetylglucosamine이 교대로 연결된 구조로, β-1,3 및 β-1,4 글리코시드 결합을 통해 형성됩니다.
세포막 내면에서 막결합 합성효소에 의해 합성되어 세포외로 분비되며, 관절 윤활, 세포 이동, 조직 재생 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
HA 농도의 변화는 류마티스 관절염 등 염증성 및 퇴행성 관절질환과 관련이 있으며, CD44 수용체와의 상호작용은 백혈구의 조직 특이적 이동 및 종양 전이와도 연관되어 있습니다.
HAS2는 척추동물의 hyaluronan synthase 유전자군에 속하며, Xenopus laevis의 glycosaminoglycan synthetase (DG42)와 높은 상동성을 보입니다.
