Target Information
Neurogenin-2는 신경 발생에 중요한 역할을 하는 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 전사인자 유전자군인 neurogenin 하위군의 구성원입니다. 생쥐의 신경 발생 과정에서 Ngn2와 Ngn1은 중추 및 말초 신경계의 서로 다른 전구세포 집단에서 발현됩니다. 돌연변이 분석 결과 Ngn1은 근위 두개 감각신경절의 신경 전구세포 결정에 필요하며, Ngn2는 epibranchial placode 유래 감각 뉴런의 전구세포 결정에 필수적임이 밝혀졌습니다.
