PTP1B (PTPN1)는 소포체의 미접힌 단백질 반응(Unfolded Protein Response)을 조절하는 티로신 단백질 포스파테이스입니다. EIF2AK3/PERK의 탈인산화를 매개하여 단백질 키나아제 활성을 비활성화시키며, CKII 및 p60c-src 신호전달 경로에 관여합니다. 또한 EFNA5-EPHA3 신호 경로를 조절하여 세포 재배열 및 세포 간 반발을 조절하고, MET 탈인산화를 통해 간세포 성장인자 수용체 신호전달 경로를 조절합니다.
