Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is coordinately expressed with the activator of cAMP-responsive element modulator (CREM). It associates with CREM to confer a strong transcriptional activation function. CREM is essential for spermatid differentiation into mature spermatozoa. Multiple polyadenylation sites and alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, encoding the same protein.
