Target Information
This gene is a member of the MAGEB gene family. Members have entire coding sequences located in the last exon and show 50–68% sequence identity. Promoters and first exons vary considerably, suggesting differential transcriptional control.
Localized in the DSS (dosage-sensitive sex reversal) region, expressed in testis and various tumor types.
Clustered on chromosome Xp22–p21. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
