Reconstitution: Add 50 µL or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Voltage-gated potassium channels form the largest and most diversified class of ion channels, present in both excitable and nonexcitable cells.
They regulate resting membrane potential and control the shape and frequency of action potentials.
The protein encoded by KCNS3 is not functional alone but forms heteromultimers with other members of the Shab-related subfamily of potassium voltage-gated channel proteins (e.g., member 1 and 2).
This gene belongs to the S subfamily of the potassium channel family.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found.
