MAP2K5는 MAP3K3/MEKK3 및 aPKCs에 의해 인산화 및 활성화될 수 있습니다. MAP2K5 신호 전달 경로는 성장 인자 자극에 의한 세포 증식 및 근육 세포 분화에 관여합니다. 또한 MAP2K5 프로모터의 rs3743354 다형성은 대장암(CRC) 발병 위험에 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다.
