• For Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Formalin-fixed tissues require heating in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

VISTA (V-domain Ig-containing suppressor of T-cell activation), also known as B7-H5 or PD-1H, is encoded by the VSIR gene.
Although VISTA shares sequence homology with PD-L1, it has a distinct expression pattern. In both human and mouse, VISTA is predominantly expressed on hematopoietic cells, especially myeloid cells, and to a lesser extent on T cells, while typically absent on B cells.
VISTA expressed by antigen-presenting cells can suppress CD4 and CD8 T-cell proliferation and cytokine production, making it a promising target in cancer immunotherapy.
Reported ligands of VISTA include CD28H, VSIG-3, and VSIG-8.
