The eBio299Arm monoclonal antibody serves as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications reported include immunohistochemical staining and immunocytochemistry.
Use the isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Not validated for flow cytometric analysis.

Filter Recommendation:
For eFluor® 615 conjugates, use filters suitable for 615 nm emission (e.g., Excitation 560/55, 585LP, Emission 645/75).
Standard Alexa Fluor® 594 filters are acceptable.

Target Information

Isotype control antibodies help distinguish non-specific background signal from specific antibody binding.
They are useful in applications such as flow cytometry, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), immunohistochemistry, and gel shift assays.
Isotype controls should match the species and isotype of the primary antibody for accurate comparison.
For directly labeled antibodies, the isotype control should carry the same label as the test antibody.
