Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
UBXN2B (UBX domain-containing protein 2B), also known as NSFL1 cofactor p37 or p97 cofactor p37, is a 331 amino acid protein containing one UBX domain and one SEP domain.
UBXN2B is required for endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus biogenesis and maintenance during interphase, and for their reassembly at the end of mitosis.
Through interaction with VCP, UBXN2B forms a complex with membrane fusion activity.
This activity requires USO1-GOLGA2 tethering and BET1L, with VCPIP1 also required (but not its deubiquitinating activity).
