For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The UBE2NL gene is intronless and encodes a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. The protein is 91% identical to ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2N. This locus represents a polymorphic pseudogene, where some individuals have a functional allele encoding the full-length protein, while others have a truncated non-functional allele (reference SNP rs237520).
