Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Protein NUMB homolog is an evolutionarily conserved protein that regulates neuronal progenitor cell differentiation. NUMB functions in clathrin-dependent endocytosis via AP-2 complex binding and is expressed in postmitotic neurons, contributing to axonal growth.
Neural cells expressing NUMB isoforms with short phosphotyrosine-binding (SPTB) domains show extensive neurite outgrowth, which can be inhibited by voltage-gated Ca²⁺ channel inhibitors or Ca²⁺ chelators.
