Target Information
Fasciculation and elongation protein zeta-2 (FEZ2)는 포유류 FEZ1의 상동체이며, C. elegans의 UNC-76과 유사한 단백질입니다. FEZ1과 달리 FEZ2 mRNA는 마우스 조직 전반에서 넓게 발현됩니다. FEZ2는 PKC-zeta substrate와 상호작용하여 PC12 세포의 신경돌기 연장을 유도하며, 이는 PKC-zeta와의 결합을 통해 다양한 세포의 형태적 변화에 관여할 가능성을 시사합니다. FEZ2는 FEZ1과 C-말단 및 coiled-coil 영역을 통해 상호작용할 수 있으며, 최소 두 가지 isoform이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
