Target Information
Involucrin은 keratinocyte crosslinked envelope의 구성 요소로, 세포질에 존재하며 transglutaminase에 의해 막 단백질에 교차 결합됩니다.
이 단백질은 각막을 포함한 다양한 중층 편평 상피에서 발현되며, 정상 표피에서는 상부 spinous 층에서 처음 발현됩니다.
Involucrin 발현은 편평세포암 및 전암성 병변에서 비정상적이며, 후두 및 자궁경부의 심한 이형성증에서는 감소합니다.
이 유전자는 1q21 염색체에 위치하며, calpactin I light chain, trichohyalin, profillaggrin, loricrin, calcyclin 등과 함께 존재합니다.
